Anodizing

Anodizing (Type II) is an electrochemical process for producing controlled aluminum oxide films on aluminum. This process creates excellent decorative, thermal, adhesion, and electrical insulating qualities for aluminum parts.

Hardcoat Anodizing

Hardcoat anodizing (Type III), also known as hard anodizing, is an electrochemical process similar to standard anodizing (Type II), but it creates a surface coating with hardness characteristics second only to diamonds.

Chromate Conversion

Chromate conversion coatings, also known as chemical film, use chromic acid in the form of its soluble salts. During this process a thin, gel-like film is produced on the surface. Chromate is an excellent pre-treatment for paint or adhesives.
